We had a slight setback today and had to give Madelyn a rest by having her put back on some support. Vapotherm is a pretty common thing for a preemie her size. She is doing great otherwise and it growing bigger every day!
No more CPAP for me!
This week Madelyn decided it was time to lose the headgear and see if she can breathe like a big girl!! She has been off of the cpap machine for 3 days now and she is doing really well so far. Sarah and I love being able to look at her beautiful face and watch all of her little facial movements and she is completely unrestricted now.
Madelyn's First Easter
We celebrated our first Easter with Madelyn. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we had to take turns visiting the little lady. Mom and our nurses helped make the best of it with an Easter photo session. Madelyn loved sitting up in the basket and mom loved taking LOTS of pictures :) Here are a few of our favorites. To see them click here
4 pounds and still growing!!
Little Miss Madelyn weighs 4 pounds as of today! She is doing well on the ram which is her current breathing apparatus. All day she has been at 21 percent oxygen which is room air. One day closer to her graduation from the NICU and time for her to head home!!
