Our little girl hit the 30 week (gestational age) mark on Thursday and is right on track!
I was able to grab a couple shots while extubated her and put her on a mask. Such a beautiful little girl we have 💗

The adventure begins!
Today marks day 17 with our little angel Madelyn. As I sit here next to her little isolette I am still in shock that she made her entrance into this world so soon. Sarah and I didn't expect to see her until sometime in May, however little Madelyn had different plans. Sarah and I had been hoping, praying, and really trying to get pregnant for a number of years with no luck. Once we stopped worrying about it and decided it wasn't going to happen it finally did! Sarah and I were both very excited and once we shared the news with the other kids they were too. In the weeks following we went to doctors appointments for ultrasounds and other tests and things were going along great. The ultrasounds showed a healthy baby girl due on May 28th of 2020. Sarah was excited to start shopping and putting together a registry so we did that as well. Everything was going smoothly until January 28th.
